Today I will run new experiments to get a closer look and more understanding of the Stable Diffusion version 1.5 Sampling Method “euler”. I run experiments to help figure out ethical ways to generate new high quality content with AI Tools. I have strong feelings that we should not be putting human artists’ names into our AI Prompts because that practice causes harm to human artists by exploiting them without their fully informed prior consent and then also adds more harm by erasing their names on all search platforms everywhere & replacing all search platform results for the human artists names & art with the new AI Generated art (super gross!). We can collaborate with AI software and resources without using gross extract, exploit and erase tactics. Step One: Brainstorm AI Text Prompt Ideas:
I prefer to do my prototyping with the fastest Sampling Method “DDIM” when I am in the first stage of brainstorming ideas. I need speed to iterate on each AI Prompt idea and DDIM is the best Sampling Method for this task. When I see results I want with DDIM Sampling Method, I take my happy AI Prompt design over to a slower Sampling Method ( Euler in this context) that is better suited for the subject matter results I want to AI Generate. According to this article, Euler Sampling Method is probably well suited for architecture, fashion, jewelry, branding, punk, highly styled and photo real soft visuals. Euler is probably NOT suitable for sfumato, blending, chiaroscuro and similar techniques.
Today, I’m brainstorming AI Text Prompt ideas for intricate pop up books depicting characters in forests. The following visuals are raw output from the python stable diffusion script I run on my pc laptop with nvidia 1660ti. I did not do any manual edits, upscaling, inpainting, nor any corrections that I typically do in my own art practice and production pipelines because this experiment is being documented for learning purposes (help us figure out how to design AI Text Prompts).
